For a final in my senior year costume class, I wanted to recreate a dress from a tv show, Swingtown. Taking place in 1970s Chicago, Trina Decker (Lana Parrilla) wears a sparkly gold dress to a disco club. For this project I fully constructed this dress; draping, patterning, cutting, stitching, and finishing. All parts of the dress were made by visual comparison.
